CASE CLOSED … what really happened in the 2001 anthrax attacks?

* former Sen. Daschle’s staff lived through the horrors of the anthrax attacks … now that they are in positions of power in the Obama administration, will Pete Rouse, Laura Petrou, and Mark Patterson stand up to the FBI and support Congressman Holt’s demand for a reopening of the obviously flawed investigation?

A huge collection of former Daschle staff members now occupy the highest echelon of posts in the Obama administration.

  • Pete Rouse, then the chief of staff to the majority leader, is President Obama‘s deputy chief of staff.
  • Laura Petrou, the top aide in Daschle’s suites in the Hart Senate Office Building, where an anthrax letter was opened Oct. 15, 2001, is now chief of staff at the Department of Health and Human Services.
  • Mark Patterson, then Daschle’s top policy adviser, is chief of staff at the Treasury Department.

LMW COMMENT …

Are these former Daschle staff members a possible source of assistance to Congressman Holt as he fights uphill to re-open the anthrax investigation? We can hope.

    (A) Either the senator had something to do with it, or
    (B) The senator did not have anything to do with it, & it concerned on sensitive matters that were either
    Good/Bad
& that something was going to benifit his career, or ruin it..
There is a reason for everything & everything for a reason but from what the FBI seems to do is try and plot things to people who are innocent when they aren’t able to do their job correct due to orders from the president/staff/DOD & comparmentalized operations for N2KO
    Ex. Boaz..

My guess would be: no. That is, prevailing political opinion isn’t particularly strong: the public’s attention span isn’t the greatest under any circumstances and with a 9 year-old-and-counting case out there that was pronounced ‘solved’ in August of 2008, there’s no groundswell for a reopening of the case. Ergo, I don’t see executive branch action in the offing.

I think the best bet is some sort of Congressional action. If hearings produce dramatic testimony or other evidence casting doubt on Ivins’ guilt, THEN we might see some executive branch stirring as well. All very iffy…

It was only meant to look flawed.. “They are not going to admit what country it came from and how/why it happened” until someone else puts their life on the line to show the truth… & I believe that is very possiable
