In connection with the storage of smallpox in the room at the FDA lab (formerly the NIH lab), what access by outsiders was allowed?
When the NIH turned over the temperature-controlled lab, what inventory was made of its contents?

The US DOJ has now produced the Robinson civil deposition in full and it is available to the GAO.

Dr. Ivins’ assistant Kristi Friend, who started work in June 1999 as I best recall, testified:
Q. What about others that worked in that laboratory, such as post-doc fellows that may have happened to have been there?
A. Yes, they would have. If they would have had access to B3, they would have had access to that walk-in fridge.
Q. What about foreign nationals that were also studying here at USAMRIID?
A. At that time, I don’t remember anybody of that nature going into suite B3. I’m not saying they didn’t, but no one that worked specifically with me or with Dr. Welkos or anybody else. (p. 71)
