CASE CLOSED … what really happened in the 2001 anthrax attacks?

* DXer … the key premise of the DOJ’s Ivins Theory — unexplained time in the B3 — was always unmitigated crap

Driven to suicide, Dr. Bruce Ivins may be getting closer to a well-deserved posthumous exoneration

DXER’s recent comment …

I‘ve previously uploaded the 302 interview statement indicating that it would take 1 1/2 – 2 hours to autoclave a dead animal and that checking on the animals would be a one-person job that would take a couple hours.

Thus, the key premise of the DOJ’s Ivins Theory — unexplained time in the B3 — was always unmitigated crap.

The AUSA specifically refused to provide these (and related) pages under FOIA.

The FBI’s narrative was always a crock and would not have passed the giggle test if these pages had been produced at the time of US Attorney Taylor’s dog and pony show.

  • Why would the scientists brief the matter in mid-August 2008 without releasing these pages?
  • Why weren’t these pages provided to the NAS?
  • Why does the DOJ even now drag its feet in producing other lab notebook pages such as the Lab Notebook 4010 and others that it removed from USAMRIID?
  • One question I would have for the investigators, scientists and prosecutors is this:  how many of them have even SEEN these pages?

Here’s the same comment I’ve been posting since early 2009. Maybe, just maybe, the day is coming when it will be clear which of these three disgraceful options is actually true.

The FBI’s publicly presented case against Dr. Ivins is clearly bogus: no evidence, no witnesses, an impossible timeline, science that proves innocence instead of guilt. So what really happened? And why doesn’t the FBI offer America a credible story?

As regular readers of this blog well know, I can imagine only 3 possible “actual” scenarios …

  1. The FBI has more evidence against Dr. Ivins but is, for some undisclosed reason, withholding that evidence … POSSIBLE BUT NOT SO LIKELY
  2. The FBI, despite the most expensive and extensive investigation in its history, has not solved the case and has no idea who prepared and mailed the anthrax letters that killed 5 Americans in 2001 … EVEN LESS LIKELY
  3. The FBI knows who did it (not Dr. Ivins) but is covering up the actual perpetrators, for undisclosed reasons …THE MOST LIKELY SCENARIO

If GAO compares the documents relating to hours and the rabbit work etc. to the claims made by AUSA Rachel Lieber and in the CNN documentary, it becomes apparent that in the rush of events in July 2008 she had not mastered the documents — and still has not.

The United States Department of Justice withholds from the NAS and the public — for years:

    (1) the news that its expert had made a dried aerosol using Ames from Flask 1029, and now Mr. Willman tells us the project went on for several years in the late 1990s,
    (2) the documents relating to the positive tests for Ames in Kandahar,
    (3) the September 17, 2001 email, and
    (4) the contemporaneous lab notes made by Dr. Ivins.

Meanwhile, the government asks that everyone fill out a survey that will help make sure they get the right meds in case of an anthrax attack.

I’ve got a different idea. How about the Department of Justice comply with FOIA in a timely manner? The government imposes on the time of thousands without devoting even one person’s time to complying with the outstanding document requests.

Bay Area Health Community Asks People to Prepare for Potential Anthrax Attack

We don’t want whatever it is you have Bay Area disaster planners need citizens to cooperate on Wednesday, not because there will be a disaster — that we know of. They need you to participate in a test on a Web site created specifically to screen the masses just in case there is an anthrax attack.

Why? Because in the event of a panic-inducing anthrax outbreak, all Bay Area residents would need to get medicine — fast.

To make that happen, health departments have formed the Bay Area Mass Prophylaxis Working Group (prophylaxis, as in “the preventing of a disease”) which is coordinating ways to ensure the entire population has access to the right emergency meds.

In response to LMW above… It’s going to happen one way or another when this is all will come out Likely unless something drastic happens to be submitted the DOJ/FBI will end up offering to the people a better truth to comprehend, but will be withholding much more known information… Only if certain things come to light

I’m thinking one could take every comment from from blog and be able to exonerate Ivins based on what has been presented by the FBI/DOJ..

Just a random question.. Has anyone looked into the number of times the CIA has defied the white house and or gone over the presidents/white house head without them ever knowing one nano bit of Intel about anything that is being done with biological/chemical testing? Ex-CIA birdies have heard that they were ramping up certain test again in 08/09 after staying quiet for so long, and that certain things were “Never” spoken about withing the normal working walls of the CIA unless it was a highly compartmentalized program/op. I believe that one had heard such groups as being called the Dirty Dozen aka Double D’s.

There is one question that I would like to see answered here or anywhere else or ones opinions is over the past decade for starters. “Has the following ever been infiltrated?” If yes what is the number of times for each…….

    -.– . … / No / Maybe So
    Porton Down-

As far as the GAO goes – “Keep the media on the high list of this Re-Investigation to make a strong statement as the GAO gets started on through weekly updates, and to perhaps acquire more data that is unknown to most… Someone has to have something out there… It’s just when will things surface…”

“To the GAO”.. “You might not ever know the unknowns, If you don’t take a chance…. Don’t take a backseat or mess this one up. Do it right!

Go way way outside the box…

As things progress.. the NAS needs to re-open their case and submit to the public updated “Official Findings!” I know I would…

Another sneeky thing trying to get silently through the house, that can be viewed at the ACLU link below.

    Keep up the good work…
    “Always” have an open mind…

I also foresee that once this all gets going even down to watching a congressional hearing that would be very interesting to watch at some point, certain people are going to be back peddling and twisting their/others statements/words, “Big Time”: for example, senario—-.- Well the rest of the FBI didn’t know, but I and certain others knew about certain testing going on along with another agency or for their words would be undisclosed lab… Just a very strong opinion.. We will see in due time. I’ll be along with many others watching closely esp. when certain people make statments under oath… “Again GAO. Do your JOB RIGHT!” Don’t get in a hurry!
