Here is a discussion of Dr. Gerard Andrews’ testimony, as described by counsel for Plaintiff Maureen Stevens, in withdrawing plaintiff’s stipulation that Bruce Ivins was the perpetrator of the Fall 2001 anthrax mailings.

These depositions were filmed. These numerous well-spoken scientists explaining that there is no “there there” to the FBI’s “Ivins Theory” would have been formidable witnesses. They not only were microbiologists but they knew the fact-setting of the lab.

The DOJ and FBI’s non-scientific case was built significantly on the claims of the first counselor who says she got her instructions from an alien each night (see her 2009 self-published book, PSYCHIC ASCENSION, stating that). His first counselor, Judith McLean, thought she was being pursued by murderous astral entities. She threw herself into the vortex of the controversy by giving an anonymous interview to the Washington Post the day before the US Attorney’s press conference — setting the stage for the smearing of Dr. Ivins as a murderous fiend. Those who think there was a sound “circumstantial” case — apart from science — have not read the first counselor’s book.

People commenting on an important matter without doing necessary reading should step up their game.

Why was the FBI asking everyone whether they had seen olive oil in one of the aerosol rooms. Was that indicated by the forensics?

The photocopy mentioned in the Amerithrax Summary could be excluded as the source of the Amerithrax letters and we know he wasn’t making a fine powder on those occasions that the USG reports he was in the library!

The 2-person rule that in 2002 precluded such overtime such as Fall 2001, including November and December, to continue in 2002. Thus the central argument about the unique pattern of hours was a crock that has never been corrected.

This 302 interview statement that dealing with the animals typically would take 2 hours and was a one person job.
